Dear Members
February is going fast! We've
done so much this month. The Allen family's
Spaghetti fund-raiser was a huge success with a
net profit of $9,000 + dollars. This money will
help pay medical bills that Rebecca has incurred
due to her illness. Thanks go out to the
Community, Michele Goodermote , who spearheaded
the benefit, and all of her committee helpers.
The Valentines 50's & 60's
party was well attended and all had a great time.
I thank the committee for their hard work.
The Friday night meals have
been going well also. The cooking teams offer
tasty meals every Friday evening. Thank you
members for making it possible to pay our bills.
What a great disappointment
that only a few members showed up on the 17th of
Town Hall Meeting. Those Elks that were there
were the same ones who help all the time. Don't
you care what happens in this Lodge? I do
March is another busy month. We
will have elected a new slate of officers for the
2008-2009 Elk year. We will need every member to
back them up. They are our backbone and without
them we have no Lodge.
Bingo still needs your help.
Can you cook hotdogs and Hamburgers? Want to
learn? Can you make sandwiches, cakes, cookies,
anything? You're needed. Every Tuesday we serve
the Bingo players who put money into our coffers.
Can you give me an hour of your time to call back
numbers? Sell tickets? Please help. Call me at

The Grill Room needs
bartenders. Can you give one day (a few hours).
We need your help.
No one person runs an
organization. It takes many helping hand to be
successful.
